- Expands MusicEducation: Supports MUSE (MUSic for Excellence), providing instrumental training, and mentorship to over 20 OUSD schools, serving over 1,400 youth annually.
- Empowers Young Artists: The Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra offers performance opportunities, mentorship, and international tours to cultivate the next generation of musicians.
- Expands Access Through Hall Pass: Provides complimentary concert tickets to Title I school communities and historically marginalized groups, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience live orchestral music.
- Enriches Cultural Representation: Supports concerts and initiatives that amplify underrepresented voices, ensuring programs reflect Oakland’s diverse communities.
